Rental Terms
Lease period and payments
We lease our home on a renewable fixed term basis, with a minimum of four weeks. Rent for four weeks includes all utilities (gas, electricity, water), full digital cable television, and high-speed Internet access. During October - March, a surcharge of CDN$ 200 per four weeks is added to cover increased heating costs.
CDN$ 2,000 is required to reserve a tenancy, with the balance of rent due one week before arrival. If you subsequently cancel, amounts will be refunded only if our home is re-leased.
Security deposit
A security deposit equal to four weeks rent and a refundable CDN$ 150 fee for two sets of keys & alarm controls are due one week before arrival. These amounts are refunded at the end of the lease.
Arrival and departure
Guests may arrive any day of the week, with check-in after 4.00pm , and on the day of departure check-out by 10:30am.
Housekeeping, cleaning and maintenance
Our home is professionally cleaned before your arrival, and general housekeeping is provided on a bi-weekly basis during your stay. Home and yard maintenance is also provided.
